SUNY Oswego Going Back To In Person Learning

Oswego, N.Y. - SUNY Oswego president Deborah Stanley announcing that the campus will resume in-person learning beginning Monday Oct 5th.

SUNY Oswego had gone to online learning after climbing coronavirus cases popped up on campus.

She along with SUNY Chancellor Jim Malatras celebrated the dwindling COVID-19 cases and thanked the students for their efforts to help stop the spread.

Stanley said the college will continue to monitor for the disease via wastewater surveillance and will begin proactively testing students, staff, and faculty every 3 weeks.

The school says they have done over 9,500 COVID tests and are working with SUNY Upstate to do saliva tests.
