New Jersey Man Facing Manslaughter Charges In Thruway Crash

Monroe County, N.Y. - A New Jersey man is facing two charges of manslaughter after a fatal crash on the Thruway earlier this month.

State Police say around 4am, September 4th Quentin Campbell was driving a tractor trailer when he tried to make a u-turn across the westbound lanes of traffic between Exit 46 and 47 in Monroe County. A car driving in the westbound lane hit the tractor trailer, sliding underneath it. The driver and passenger were killed.

Campbell then left the scene.

He faces two counts of manslaughter, and one count of leaving the scene of a fatal collision.
