A woman is dead and an officer is in critical condition following an incident on Oneida Lake.
State police say that Blair Dodge and Officer William LaShomb were staying on a boat overnight Sunday when a potential carbon monoxide leak caused them to become unconscious. A search for the pair began after Dodge didn't show up for work on Monday. Troopers found them in the boat, where Dodge was pronounced dead at the scene. LaShomb was taken to the hospital, where he is in critical condition.
