Geddes, N.Y. - Onondaga County announcing today that they will expand the county's loan program.
County Executive Ryan McMahon said that the county will be offering 1% interest loans that homeowners can use for renovations. The county will offer loans of up to $25,000 dollars in the town of Geddes. Previously, the loans were capped at $15 grand and only in the village of Solvay.
The loans are good for indoor or outdoor renovations and can be paid back in 10 years. Previously, the deadline was seven.
