State Police Arrest Man Wanted In Two States

Townof Salina, N.Y. - A wanted man has been arrested after leading State Police on a chase .

State Police conducted a traffic stop on Old Liverpool Road in the town of Salina. They learned the driver, 26 year old James J. Robinson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was wanted on several active warrants in Oswego County and the state of Arkansas. As they attempted to arrest him, he took off in his vehicle until he crashed, then he fled on foot through people's backyards on Buckley Road.

Troopers eventually caught and arrested him.

He faces the follwing charges:

  • Fugitive from Justice (Arkansas)
  • Reckless Endangerment 2nddegree
  • Criminal Impersonation 2nddegree
  • Obstructing Governmental Administration
  • Fleeing a Police Officer in a motor vehicle 3rddegree
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nddegree
