Labor Day Weekend Violence In Syracuse Injures 5

Syracuse police are investigating five violent incidents over the course of just three hours.

The string of violence started just after 9 Saturday night with a shooting on Catherine Street. That was followed by a stabbing on South Salina Street, a shooting on Neutral Court and a double-stabbing on Fernwood Avenue. Five people were injured as a result, but all are expected to fully recover.
