Syracuse Police have identified the man killed in an overnight officer involved shooting.
Just before 1 last night, police were called to the Sunoco gas station on N State St for reports of a man with a gun. 33 year old Steve Smith displayed the weapon in front of officers, at which point he was shot. Smith died at the scene.
