Salina, N.Y. - A trio of teens have been arrested following a car chase in a stolen car last night.
Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputies say that just before midnight they tried to pull over a Hyundai SUV on 690 in Van Buren that had been reported stolen out of the City of Syracuse. The SUV had three people inside and sped off and got onto the Thruway before getting of on Oswego Road in Salina. The teens eventually pulled over on I-81 near Destiny USA once the Sheriff's Air1 helicopter got involved in the chase.
The 17 year old driver and the two 16 year old passengers are charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle their case will be handled in Family Court.
