A grand jury has cleared an Onondaga County Sheriff's officer of any wrongdoing after a man was killed during a shootout.
The panel said Detective Mark Grady was justified when he opened fire towards 31-year-old Aaron Hudson near Washington Square Park last month. District Attorney William Fitzpatrick says this incident should serve as a reminder of the dangers members of law enforcement face every day.
