Skaneateles officials say a toxic algal bloom has been found near a local park.
The bloom is located near Thayer Park on Skaneateles Lake. Similar algae closed down swimming at Jamesville Beach earlier this month. Officials are looking to eradicate the bloom and prevent future algae from growing on the lake.
