Onondaga County officials are looking to help districts with coronavirus testing and class space as needed.
In a meeting with County Executive Ryan McMahon, superintendents were offered assistance with testing students and staff before they potentially enter their school's buildings. Some local leaders expressed interest in having a mobile testing site operate on their campus to help bring up COVID-19 testing numbers within the school community.
The decision coming following a recent survey of SCSD teachers- many of whom don't feel comfortable returning to the classroom.
