Gov Cuomo Adds Rhode Island To Quarantine List, Takes Two States Off

Albany, N.Y. - Gov Cuomo giving an update on COVID 19 battle. He says positivety rate still stands around 1% for the state. 3 people have passed away in past 24 hours. He also announced he is adding Rhode Island to travel quarantine list and has removed Delaware and Washington D.C. from the list.

Governor Cuomo announcing that more than $2.3 million has been awarded to support 61 businesses and residential landlords with COVID-19 related costs and expenses.Of the 61 loans, 54 were provided to minority- and women-owned businesses; ten loans were provided to residential landlords; two loans were awarded to veteran-owned businesses; and one loan supported a non-profit organization

And Gov Cuomo says New York state is preparing for Strong Winds, Heavy Rains and Flash flooding as Tropical Storm ISAIAS moves up the coast. Cuomo says State Emergency Response Assets have been deployed to support local emergency organizations. He has banned tandem trailers and empty tractor trailers from MTA Bridges starting at noon today til Midnight.

Current projections show that the storm's track has shifted slightly to the west, increasing the threat of heavy rains and strong winds for the Mid-Hudson and Capital Regions.
