Town of Kirkland, N.Y. - A rabid racoon has been found in Oneida County
The racoon was found in the town of Kirkland and sent to the State Department of Health were they found it positive for rabies. Authorities warn the public that if you see an animal acting strange, mad, or gets too close, and if there is drooling or foaming at the mouth, stay away and contact your local animal control officer.
