No Fans For NYS College Games This Fall

Should college athletes in NY take to the field for the Fall sports season, they'll be competing in front of empty grandstands.

Officials say it's due to lingering concerns about the spread of COVID-19. In a statement, SU officials said that the health and safety of fans and players is their chief priority. IF the opportunity comes up, SU said that they would follow state guidelines to have fans back in the stands as soon as possible. Those fans won't be shut out completely though, since the contests can still be televised.
