Eastern Equine Encephalitis Is Back In Oswego County

Oswego, N.Y. - Eastern Equine Encephalitis or Triple E is back!

According to Oswego County Health officials it was found in a mosquito pool collected at Toad Harbor Swamp in the town of West Monroe.

Oswego County Health Department reminds residents to use insect repellent and take other measures to reduce mosquitos around their home.

People should limit their outdoor activities between dusk and dawn, thats when mosquitoes are most active. Also you should wear long sleeves, pants, socks and shoes to prevent the bite.
