Oswego, N.Y. - Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow announcing a proposal today for a second round of funding in the cities "Blight Reduction Loan Program".
Barlow has asked the Oswego Common Council for $50,000 to rehabilitate some vacant homes. Barlow said hes excited about the second round of the loan program, hoping to build what thye have already done and to continue targeting in his words "some of our worst properties that drag down surrounding neighborhoods."
Barlow said the city has already identified a few properties that could benefit from the funding.
