Onondaga County DA Says Six Shooters Involved In Mass Shooting

The investigation continues into a mass shooting over the weekend on Syracuse's Near West Side

Onondaga County DA Bill Fitzpatrick said that an annual gathering was winding down Saturday night just before 9 when shots were fired into the crowd. Investigators believe at least six shooters from rival gangs opened fire. Nine people were injured, most of whom sustained non-life threatening injuries. One person, a 17 year old male, is still listed in critical condition after being shot in the head.
