The Wild Animal Park "Drive-Thru" Lawsuit On Hold

Town of Sullivan, N.Y. - The lawsuit against a drive-thru safari at The Wild Animal Park, has been put on hold, for now.

A lawsuit filed Monday by the Town of Sullivan said The Wild Animal Park and its owner Jeff Taylor are operating in an unauthorized manner. Taylor said he was surprised by the lawsuit. Wednesday night, he argued his case before the Town board. Shortly after, it was announced the lawsuit was on hold and the Board and the animal park have agreed to work together.

Taylor said he's working with an engineer to make the appropriate zoning changes.

An online petition to save the zoo has received more than 45,000 signatures.
