Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Nationals has offcially been postponed for 2020.
Event organizers say the risks of COVID-19 were too high to have large crowds gather at the State Fairgrounds. Even if the restrictions were lifted by the time the Nationals were supposed to be held, organizers said that they wouldn't be able to produce a quality show while keeping everyone's health and safety in mind.
Anyone who already had a ticket to the car show can get a refund, while car owners, campers and vendors can have their payments rolled over to next year.
The 2021 Syracuse Nationals are scheduled to take place July 16th through 18th.
The annual car show brings in nearly 90,000 people to Syracuse every July.
