Syracuse, N.Y. - In his Wednesday afternoon COVID-19 briefing, Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announced the loss of another neighbor due to coronavirus.
The victim was a female in her 60s with underlying medical conditions.
This brings the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 41 in Onondaga County.
Onondaga County now has a total of 1,178 positive cases of COVID-19. That’s 63 more cases from Tuesday.
McMahon also announced the county will continue to do proactive testing in cities, villages, and suburbs.
