Syracuse, N.Y. - Governor Andrew Cuomo in Syracuse today said that he can't see the New York State Fair happening this year unless the entire state is open.
Cuomo said it "Breaks my heart, but you can't," The Governor speaking at SUNY Upstate said several factors will be considered before a region can reopen, including the number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus.
He also indicated unless the opening is statewide and not just statewide but with our neighboring states, summer events like the Fair and the Syracuse Nationals wont happen.
Cuomo said 335 more people passed away in the last 24 hours from COVID19 in NY.
