Syracuse, N.Y. - Doctors are asking for help, from those that have recovered from Coronavirus, in their fight against those sickened by the disease.
Upstate University Hospital is now collecting blood plasma from COVID-19 survivors.
Doctors say when someone recovers from COVID-19 they should develop an immune response to the virus. They believe that can help save the lives of those currently infected.
A donation is similar to donating blood, but can be done more frequently.
