Albany, N.Y. - While most businesses throughout the state remain closed due to COVID-19, one surprising venue is allowed to stay open.
As long as they follow strict CDC and state guidelines, golf courses across New York are allowed to operate. Those that are willing to spend a day out on the green will still have to adhere to social distancing rules, and access to indoor areas on the facilities are restricted. Golf clubs and other equipment cannot be shared in order to reduce the spread of germs.
Many local owners say that April is a crucial month for their businesses, and that they're glad the state is allowing them to remain open.
