Syracuse, N.Y. - A Syracuse man is recovering after being shot in broad daylight.
Syracuse Police Investigators say that it happened near the intersection of Midland Avenue and West Calthrop Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Thursday.
Officers say that the man was shot in the hip and that they expect him to pull through.
