Syracuse, N.Y. - St. Joe's is cracking down on patient visitors.
Beginning Tuesday, visitors may only see patients in the former Labor and Deliver unit now called Mother and Baby, End of Life care, the Emergency Department, and discharges. Otherwise, there are no more patient visitors.
St. Joseph's Health officials say that the decision was made on behalf of the safety of its Hospital patients, colleagues, and the community.
