Madison County Declares State Of Emergency, Stop Short Of Closing Schools

Wampsville, N.Y. - Madison County officials are declaring a State of Emergency. The order will allow them close all public schools at a later time.

There remains no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Madison County.

The move differs from Onondaga and Madison counties. Onondaga County is ordering all public schools to close Friday. Students in Oswego County will not return to school this week.
