New Rochelle, N.Y. - Gov Cuomo helped open up a drive through today but its not what you think.
Its a drive through to test for Covid 19.
The mobile testing center opened this morning in New Rochelle, the Westchester County city that is at the epicenter of New York’s efforts to halt coronavirus.
People call a specific number and make an appointment. They drive into the faciilty where they are swabbed and the swab is sent to a lab. The results expected to come back in a couple of days.
Of New York’s 328 confirmed cases, the most are in Westchester County, with 148. Of those, 27 new confirmed cases were reported Thursday.
A containment zone there was announced by Gov. Andrew Cuomo earlier in the week.
