Albany, N.Y. - Students at SUNY schools across the state will soon be taking their classes online because of concerns over the coronavirus.
The change is set to take effect March 19th, meaning students won't be returning to their classrooms for the rest of the spring semester. Dorms and campuses will be staying open to help students who aren't able to leave. A partial refund may be made available for students who have already paid their room and board and choose to go home.
Earlier this week, Syracuse University also announced it'll be holding classes online.
