Threating Text Causes Baldwinsville Schools To "Lockout"

Baldwinsville, N.Y. - A threating text sent to a student caused Baldwinsville Central School District officials to institute a lockout today.

A Baldwinsville student was threatened by a student from another school district. Officials chose to institute a lockout on the district’s main campus after being made aware of the threat. Schools effected included Baker High, Durgee Junior and Elden Elementary.

The student suspected of making the threat has been taken into custody by police and the lockout has been lifted.
