JORDAN, NY - A fire broke out on the east side of the roof of Kegs Canal Side.
The venue is a popular spot with country music fans all throughout the year.
Officials from the Jordan Fire Department, tell NewsRadio 570 WSYR that around 5:05pm Thursday night, a passerby spotted heavy smoke coming from the roof of the venue.
The Department, located right next door, responded to the scene, and were able to extinguish the fire before it could spread to the area where the stage is located.
"They think the fire started in the ceiling above the kitchen," said a Kegs Canalside employee at the site.
It's unknown at this time how extensive the damage is, or if this will cause a delay in shows at the venue.
