Chicago, IL - Contigo is recalling their kids’ water bottles, again! This comes after the replacements provided to consumers in an earlier recall continue to pose a choking hazard.
The company previously recalled 5.7 million children’s water bottles in August but it looks like the replacement bottles and lids handed out during that recall pose the same potential hazard.
The water bottles’ clear silicone spouts can detach, which can cause a choking hazard.
The company has received reports of 27 spouts found in kids’ mouths and 427 total reports of spouts detaching.
Images of the recalled bottles are available on the CPSC webite. Just click on the link Consumer Product Safety Comission.
