Oneida, N.Y. - State Police are once again urging New Yorkers to follow the state's Move Over Law.
The legislation requires everyone behind the wheel drive slowly and move one lane over if they see an emergency vehicle on the side of the road. Troopers say 26 State Police vehicles were struck by last year by drivers who didn't follow the law.
Last month, a driver slammed into a Trooper car on the Onondaga Lake Parkway.
Penalties include a large fine and points on your driver's license.
