SU Announces Punishment For Students Who Commit Bias Vandalism

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse University officials have announced the punishment for any student caught taking part in bias-related vandalism or graffiti.

The school says that student will be suspended and removed from the university immediately.

There have been several instances of offensive graffiti found on campus in recent months, including earlier this week in Day Hall. That residence hall has dealt with five separate incidents.

The school says it's difficult to find who is behind the vandalism, since the graffiti is often in places that can't be monitored due to personal privacy.

Officials are asking anyone with information on these cases to come forward.
