Auburn Police Looking For Man Who Stole Charity Money

Auburn, N.Y. - Auburn police are looking for the public's help in finding a man who stole money from a charity.

The money,around 200 dollars,was in a jar at Mesa Grande Tacqueria on Genesee St, when the man took the jar and left. The money was meant to benefit the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which supports children fighting cancer.

Police say the suspect is in his 20’s, about 5’5” with black hair, dark eyes, a chinstrap beard and a faint mustache.

He was last seen wearing dark pants, black sneakers, and a flat-brimmed baseball hat with a black 5-point leaf outlined in red, yellow and green on the front.
