Syracuse Police Make Arrest In Connection With Stabbing

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police have made an arrest in connection with a stabbing.

Officers say Kostandinos Kavaratzis injured a 31-year-old man on West Onondaga Street yesterday during a fight over a necklace. He then left the scene in a car, only to crash a few blocks away at the intersection of West Onondaga Street and West Adams Street where he was taken into custody.

Kavaratzis is facing assault and assault and weapons possession charges.

Officers say that the victim his expected to live.
