Victor, N.Y. - A special prosecutor has been appointed to handle the drunken driving arrest of Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb.
It was announced yesterday that Yates County District Attorney Todd Casella will handle the case. Kolb was arrested Tuesday night after crashing his state-issued SUV near his home in the Ontario County Town of Victor.
He released a statement hours after being taken into custody where he said there was no excuse or justification for his arrest.
