Two Cortland Men Arrested For Kidnapping and Threatening Victim

Cortland,N.Y. - Two men in Cortland have been accused of kidnapping and threatening a man to keep him from talking to the cops.

Police say Donavin Fink, and Devin Hines, went to an 18-year-old’s house, choked him, threatened him with a knife, tied him up and drove to a secluded area where they threatened to drag the teen behind their car. They then warned him if he spoke to the police he would be killed, and they let him go.

Police have arrested Fink and Hines and both are facing several serious charges.

Investigators charged Fink with first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree conspiracy, intimidating a witness, criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree menacing.

Hines was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping and fourth-degree conspiracy.
