Baldwinsvlle, N.Y. - A Baldwinsville middle school teacher, who sent a link to students that went to a porn site, thought the site was an educational one, and he may have been right.
The district says, the website in question had once been educational one, but for some reason has been changed to contain pornography. It was unclear if the site was hacked or changed for some other reason.
The Ray Middle School teacher, who has not been named, will not face criminal charges, but remains on paid leave as the district investigates whether proper procedures and protocols were followed.
Onondaga County DA BIll Fitzpatrick says there was no evidence of criminal intent.
The district said it would have no further comment on the matter, including when or if the teacher returns to work.
