Syracuse, N.Y. - TSA at Hancock International Airport has caught an Oneida County woman, trying to bring a gun onto a plane.
The Rome, woman, had a loaded 32 caliber handgun in her carry-on bag. It was the third handgun found by TSA officers at the airport within the past three weeks and the fifth so far this year. TSA notified the Syracuse Police, who confiscated the gun and detained the woman. She was not charged by Syracuse Police because she had a valid New York state pistol permit.
