Voters In Two Districts Pass Capital Improvement Projects

Voters in two local school districts have given the green light to capital improvement projects.

In the Jamesville-DeWitt school district, voters approved 33 million dollars in funding to make improvements at both the middle school and high school. Moses DeWitt Elementary School will also receive security upgrades to its front entrance.

In North Syracuse, nine million dollars will be spent for a renovation project at KWS Bear Road Elementary School. Land will also be purchased next to Cicero-North Syracuse High School to create additional parking and allow improve access for first responders.
