Syracuse, N.Y. - There is a traffic alert for anyone coming to Downtown today. Part of the area around the OnCenter will be closed.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., South State Street, between East Adams Street and Harrison Street, will be closed to regular traffic for the Salvation Army Christmas Bureau distribution. The street is expected to remain closed until 7:00 tonight to allow over 3,000 families to pick up food baskets and Christmas gifts.
