Onondaga Sheriffs Make Arrest In Months Old Shooting

Elbridge, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriff’s have arrested three men in connection with a shooting that took place over the summer in the parking lot of the Fastrac in the Village of Elbridge.

Back in July deputies responded to a shooting call. They learned that the victim and another had a dispute that ended in the victim being shot.

After a several month investigation, authorities have identified and charged 20 year old J’mari Jenkins, 18 year old Davion Garbutt and 22 year old Ricky Pritchett, all from Syracuse.

Sheriff's have determined that the shooting occurred during a drug transaction.

Jenkins and Garbutt were arraigned on December 2nd in Centralized Arraignment Court at which time the judge set bail at $10,000 cash/bond for Jenkins and $5,000 cash/bond for Garbutt. Both men have since posted bail. Pritchett was charged on December 11th and in addition to the robbery charge, he was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree and assault in the 2nd degree. He was arraigned Centralized Arraignment Court with bail set at $20,000 cash/bond.
