Syracuse, N.Y. - A drug addict who was the getaway driver for the the murderer of two Chili's Employees was sentenced today.
Ronald Green drove William Wood to the Chili's restaurant in Sept of 2018, where Wood killed Stephen Gudknecht and Kristopher Hicks in a robbery.
A judge today sentenced 47 year old Green to 18 1/2 years in prison. Green pleaded guilty to robbery earlier this year, sparing him the chance of a murder trial as an accomplice.
Wood has been sentenced to life and still faces the possibilty of a death sentence.
Green's motivation for driving the killer to the restaurant? 300 bucks for a drug fix.
