Syracuse, N.Y. - This Saturday, from 12- 4:45 p.m., the Central Library in downtown Syracuse is hosting a 2020 Census Job Fair.
Many jobs are still open in Onondaga County to help ensure an accurate count for the United States Census Bureau. These positions are flexible and part-time, offering 5 - 40 hours of work each week with wages for census takers starting at $17.
Income earned does not affect eligibility for SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, or Heap benefits.
Job seekers will be able to apply on the spot during the job fair. The application process takes approximately 30 minutes and representatives from the Census Bureau will be available to help guide you and answer any questions you have.
