Troopers Arrest Drunk Driver Going The Wrong Way On Thruway

Town of Brutus, N.Y. - Yesterday morning State Troopers were conducting a traffic stop around 2:30 on the Thruway in the Town of Brutus, in Cayuga County.

Another vehicle driven by 44 year old Hailey Hill of Canadaigua, drove by, failing to move over and came in close contact with the Troopers.

As they chased Hill, she turned around and proceeded to head back going the wrong way into oncoming traffic. They finally were able to pull her over.

Hill was found to be intoxicated and had an open container in the car.

She was charged with Felony DWI due to a previous alcohol related driving conviction. Hill failed to provide a breath sample and was additionally charged with DWI Refusal. She was arraigned in the Town of Brutus Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $2000 bail or $4000 bond.
