Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police are investigating a fight that landed a 13-year-old in the hospital.
The teen wa suffered head injuries after he appeared to have been knocked unconscious in a school hallway
The fight happened about noon Thursday in Clary Middle School. The boy’s mother, said he was knocked unconscious, a bone near his eye was fractured and his face is swollen.
Michael Henesey, a district spokesman, said the fight was broken up “almost immediately.” Students who were involved will be disciplined, according to Henesey.
Syracuse Police are still trying to figure out what, and who started the fight.
