Parts Of West Adams Street Closed For Water Main Repair

Syracuse, N.Y. - The City of Syracuse Department of Water has closed the eastbound traffic lanes on W. Adams Street, between S. Clinton and S. Salina Street in order to repair a water main break.

They hope to reopen the road on Friday. The southbound lane at the intersection of S. Salina and W. Adams Streets will go from two lanes to one lane during the repair. Crews will close the same lanes again overnight between Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 and will work to reopen the lanes at 2 p.m. on Saturday once the road is repaired.

Detour signs will be in place to redirect traffic to the open lanes on both E. Adams Street and S. Salina Street.
