Three Teens Attack People Trying To Rescue A Dog From Abuse

Syracuse, N.Y. - Three juveniles have been charged for beating two men unconscious and assaulting another.

On November 10th, a 65 year old man driving near the intersection of Lemoyne Avenue and Factory Avenue when he saw three teenagers abusing a dog, he confronted the teens who then proceeded to beat him until he was unconscious. A second person age 66 stopped to render aid and he was also assaulted by the teens and left unconscious, his passenger a 40 year old was attacked as well. Two 15 year olds and a 16 year old were charged with

  • Gang assault in the 1st degree
  • Assault in the 2nd and 3rd degree
  • Torturing/injuring an animal.

The 16 year old suspect was arraigned yesterday in Youth Part Criminal Court with bail set at $10,000 cash or bond. The two 15 year olds were arraigned in Family Court. All three were remanded to the Hilbrook Detention Center.
