Syracuse, N.Y. - A pair of SU students are recovering in the hospital following a house fire.
The fire broke out about 11:00 p.m. Monday on Madison Street, near Silver Street.
Fire crews say the students are being treated for smoke inhalation.
Fire investigators say that the fire started in a kitchen on the first floor and it spread spread upstairs through a stairway.
The cause is under investigation.
