Albany, N.Y. - Temperatures have been going down, but the number of flu cases is still rising statewide.
The New York State Department of Health reports there were 278 laboratory-confirmed cases of the flu during the week ending November 9th. That's a 47-percent increase from the week before.
Doctors are continuing to remind New Yorkers about the importance of getting their flu shot.
